Achter zijn imposante silhouet gaat een bewogen geschiedenis schuil, die in het teken stond van de Tweede Wereldoorlog. De vuurtoren is gebouwd van lokaal roze graniet en gaat naadloos op in het spectaculaire landschap van de door de zee uitgeslepen rotsen. \n<\/li><li><strong>Een vuurtoren met een rijke geschiedenis<\/strong>: De eerste vuurtoren werd in 1860 gebouwd om de toegang tot de haven van Ploumanac\u2019h te beveiligen. De vuurtoren werd tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog verwoest, maar werd na de oorlog herbouwd in roze graniet en later geautomatiseerd. \n<\/li><li><strong>Een must voor bezoekers<\/strong>: de vuurtoren is te voet bereikbaar via het beroemde Sentier des Douaniers (GR\u00ae34) en biedt prachtige uitzichten op de roze granietformaties, het kasteel van Costa\u00e9r\u00e8s, het eiland Renote en de archipel van de Sept-\u00celes.\n<\/li><li><strong>Een prachtige plek om van het Bretonse landschap te genieten<\/strong>: hoewel de vuurtoren van Mean Ruz niet van binnen te bezichtigen is, is het een zeer geliefde plek voor wandelingen, foto\u2019s en zonsondergangen, midden in een uitzonderlijke natuurlijke omgeving.\n<\/li><li>De vuurtoren van Perros-Guirec, ook wel Mean Ruz genoemd, staat in Ploumanac&#8217;h, aan de Roze Granietkust. Het is 15 meter hoog en volledig opgetrokken uit roze graniet uit La Clart\u00e9. De Bretonse naam, Men Ruz, betekent \u2018rode steen\u2019. Het werd in 1944 verwoest en tussen 1946 en 1948 herbouwd. Het interieur is niet te bezichtigen, maar het terrein blijft te voet toegankelijk.    \n<\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"group\"><h2 id=\"mean\" style=\"color: var(--gris);\">De vuurtoren van Mean Ruz, het symbool van Ploumanac&#8217;h<\/h2><p    ><strong>De vuurtoren van Perros-Guirec<\/strong> staat op een roze granieten kaap, aan de ingang van de zeestraat die naar de haven van Ploumanac&#8217;h leidt. De vuurtoren is <strong>15 meter<\/strong> hoog <strong>en opgetrokken uit roze graniet uit La Clart\u00e9<\/strong>, waardoor hij naadloos opgaat in het rotsachtige landschap eromheen. Deze bouw was het gevolg van een <strong>petitie die was ingediend na een tragische schipbreuk<\/strong> in dit gebied, dat bekend stond als gevaarlijk voor schepen. De<strong>vuurtoren van Perros-Guirec<\/strong> die we vandaag de dag kunnen bewonderen, werd <strong>tussen 1946 en 1948 herbouwd<\/strong> naar de ontwerpen van de architecten Henry Auffret en Jo\u00ebl Hardion. Overal rondom duiken de granietblokken met hun verbazingwekkende vormen in een zee met steeds wisselende kleuren.
